Write to [email protected]. A person reads it. Include the email address you sign in with, and the name of the household if the question is about one.
Joining a household
Someone already in the household can invite you two ways: by email, or by giving you the household's invite code. Open the app, sign in, choose Join a household, and enter the code. Codes are short on purpose so they can be read aloud.
Invites by email
An email invite arrives from [email protected]. If it has not arrived after a few minutes, check the spam folder, or ask the person who invited you for the household code instead. The code works whether or not the email ever arrives.
Reminders
Reminders fire on your own device, at the time you chose, and need the notification permission to show. On Android 13 and later the app asks for that permission only when you turn a reminder on. If reminders stop, check that notifications for the app are still allowed in the system settings.
Signing in
You can sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. If you signed up one way, keep using that way. A Google or Apple sign-in and an email sign-in with the same address are treated as the same person only if the provider gives us the same email address.
Leaving a household, or deleting your account
You can leave a household from its settings in the app. To delete your account entirely, email us from the address you sign in with and we will remove your user record and every membership. Chores and completions you created stay as the household's history, because deleting them would rewrite records that belong to other people. If there are records that are yours alone and you want them gone, say so in the same email.
Privacy questions
The privacy policy says exactly what the app stores and where. Questions about it go to [email protected].
